The Israeli official toll of H1N1 virus has risen since Shabbat to 60, according to the Health Ministry.
The first was a 68-year-old man with serious chronic illness who died at the Rabin Medical Center-Beilinson Campus in Petah Tikva.
The second was a 50-year-old woman, also with chronic illnesses, who also died at Beilinson.
The third was a 79-year-old man with chronic disease who died at Laniado Medical Center in Netanya.
The fourth was a homeless man aged 40 who was found unconscious and with external signs of trauma. He was taken to Wolfson Medical Center in Holon, where he died after being found to have been infected with H1N1 virus.
The fifth was a 56-year-old man with chronic illness who died at Rambam Medical Center in Haifa.
In all five cases, the ministry said on Sunday that it could not prove that the deaths resulted from the flu.
