Health Ministry to vaccinate children against polio

The Health Ministry is due to announce on Sunday that it will begin a large-scale, nationwide immunization drive to protect children from polio, according to Israel Radio.

A spokesperson for the Health Ministry said that 200,000 children from the south and who are under age 9 will be administered a vaccine against polio, though there is the possibility that children from other regions will also receive vaccinations.
