Social Affairs Minister Yitzhak Herzog reacted on Monday to the decision by five Labor MKs to split from the party.

Herzog said that the move represents a positive day of change for the Labor Party.

"The fact that Barak is abandoning the party will allow for renewal in the party and will return the party to its true political vision," Herzog said.
