Herzog: There is a complete lack of trust between Netanyahu and Obama

Opposition leader Isaac Herzog reacted Thursday to reports that the US had halted a weapons' transfer to Israel amid diplomatic tensions, saying that the government of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was completely "befuddled" when it came to international relations.

"Each day a new front is opened against another of our friends in the world," Herzog charged. "There is a complete lack of trust between President Obama and Netanyahu," he said.

Herzog said that Israel does not have to agree with everything that the US does, but it does need to maintain the "vital strategic asset" that is Israel's friendship with America.
