The Histadrut Labor Federation late Monday
called off a Dan Bus strike planned for mid-week as negotiations progressed toward a collective agreement with the company.
The Histadrut sought to roll back plans that would see some 300
drivers and employees lose NIS 1,000 from their monthly salaries. As
negotiations, which had dragged for a year and a half, stalled, the
Histadrut up the ante on Thursday
by threatening a strike.
Details of the agreement are expected later in the week.
