The Isrotel and Caesar hotel chains have purchased 1,550 water saving showerheads, the importer of the British-made device said this week. Isrotel replaced all of its showerheads in the Riviera, Laguna, and Sport hotels, while the Ceasars in Jerusalem, Eilat and Tiberias now sport the showerheads.

The showerheads conserve up to 44% of water for an average family, and water use in hotels is even higher.

The faucet's penetration into the market comes as the Water Authority is attempting to reduce the flow coming out of the faucet itself. It is distributing two million water saving devices for faucets. According to the company, the ecocamel showerhead reduces the water flow without reducing water pressure.
