IDF chief Gantz to meet Italian, German counterparts in European tour

IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz was scheduled to leave on Tuesday for a four-day professional visit in Europe, said the IDF.

He was set to be received as guest of honor by Italian Chief of staff Admiral Luigi Binelli Mantelli, and then depart for Germany, where he was scheduled to be hosted by his colleague, Chief of staff General Volker Wieker.

The IDF spokesman's office reported that Gantz will also be making an address at a memorial service for the victims of the Holocaust at the Grunewald monument in Berlin.
