IDF officer discharged for leaking security information

IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot announced on Friday morning that an IDF lieutenant colonel has been removed from office after under suspicion that he had committed numerous security offenses.

During a security investigation, information was discovered that lead the Chief of Staff to dismiss the officer. The officer is suspected of committing a series of crimes that involve leaking security information to the media.
