IDF soldier lightly wounded in bombing on Gaza border

An IDF soldier was lightly wounded when a bomb exploded near the security barrier in the central Gaza Strip on Thursday morning.

The soldier was treated at the scene, then evacuated to a hospital for further treatment.

During a patrol subsequently conducted by IDF troops in the area, another bomb was discovered and neutralized.

The IDF issued a statement placing the blame for the incident on Hamas.
