An IDF investigation committee concluded than an IDF vehicle was responsible for a fire that broke out at the Gamla nature reserve in May.

The committee concluded that an armored IDF vehicle scraped a basalt rock and caused a fire.

The commission recommended that an IDF firefighter team be set up to change the current procedures.

The fire started as a result of IDF exercises in the area, aided by the very warm weather.
