IRNA: Iran launches new observation satellite into space

Iran launched a new observation satellite into space on Friday, official Iranian news agency IRNA reported.

Head of Iran's Space Organization Hamid Fazeli said that the Navid satellite was launched successfully, and "will be placed into orbit (at an altitude of) between 250 and 270 kilometers," IRNA quoted him as saying.
