Israel Katz: The solution for Gaza is to give them economic prospects

Foreign Minister Israel Katz said on the Army Radio that he believes the solution for the Gaza situation is to allow the people of Gaza economic prospects, to take the burden off of Israel.

He further added that Israel must still maintain an aggressive firing policy against those who would threaten the country.

Katz also said that the fact that Hamas did not join in the firing is an accomplishment of Israel's policy regarding Gaza.

Katz was responding to a week of escalated tensions.
