Ahead of Thursday's Earth Day, recycling company Asofta Ltd, together with the Sharon Beach Regional Council, has assembled the biggest flag in the world made from recycled bottles.

The Israeli flag was unveiled on Tuesday's Independence Day in the Sharon Beach region.

In a statement Wednesday as part of its Earth Day campaign, Asofta stressed that every day in Israel, two million bottles are thrown away.
