Israeli arrested for alleged murder of Palestinian

An Israeli man was arrested on Tuesday night by Jerusalem police on suspicion of murdering a Palestinian man, attempting to murder additional Palestinians, and being in possession of illegal firearms.

The suspect, Haim Pearlman, of central Israel, is a former settler who lived in the northern West Bank and attended a yeshiva associated with the far-right Kahane  movement. He is married and has three children.
