Israeli released from Libya after going missing months ago

Rafael Hadad, who went missing in Libya five months has been released and is currently in Vienna waiting to return to Israel, Israel Radio reported Sunday.

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman's efforts to release Hadad were mediated by Austrian billionaire Martin Shlaf, the US and Italy.

Hadad, who also holds Tunisian citizenship, traveled to Libya to photograph Jewish landmarks and was taken by local security forces in the country.

An Israeli delegation received Hadad in Vienna.
