In Jordan, 500 Beduin from the Bani Sa'ahar tribe blocked the road leading to Amman's international airport in protest to the Jordanian government's appropriation of their land for development, Israel Radio reported Tuesday.

The Beduin claim that the government expropriated thousands of acres that for decades the Beduin had used for residential and agricultural purposes.
