Jordanian FM: Settlement freeze necessary for peace

Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh emphasized the importance of a settlement freeze to peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians, Xinua News reported.

Judeh reportedly made the remarks during a meeting with Marc Otte, Eurpoean Union special envoy for the Middle East peace process. Judeh told Otte that he appreciates the EU's role in advancing the peace process.
