Kassam lands south of Ashkelon; no injuries or damage

A Kassam rocket fired from Gaza into southern Israel landed south of Ashkelon on Monday, Israel Radio reported. No injuries or damage were reported in the attack.

The color red alert system was activated following the launch of the missile.

It was not known if the Iron Dome battery deployed near Ashkelon detected the rocket.
