Knesset advances law cutting MK, ministers salaries by 10%

A law cutting MKs and ministers' salaries by 10% passed its first reading in the Knesset late Monday night.

"In economically trying times, the house of representatives gave an expression to the fact we are all in the same boat and that every one must contribute their part," Yisrael Beytenu leader Avigdor Liberman, who proposed the law, told his Facebook followers.
