Liberman meets Italian PM Monti in Rome

Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman met with Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti in Rome on Wednesday.

According to Liberman, the two leaders discussed efforts to continue increasing cooperation between the countries as well as the situation in the Middle East.

Monti thanked Israel for aiding victims of the earthquakes that struck northern Italy last month.
