Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman was scheduled to leave Tuesday morning for a ten-day trip to Africa.

During the "strategic visit," Liberman was due to visit Rwanda, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Ethiopia and Kenya.

A delegation of some 50 representatives from Israeli businesses were slated to accompany the foreign minister to help develop economic ties between Israel and the African nations.
