Former opposition and Kadima party leader Tzipi Livni responded to the announcement of a unity deal between Kadima and Likud on Tuesday, saying there is "another kind of politics."

In a post on her Facebook page, she wrote, "This morning I would like to say one sentence to each and every one of you. I know exactly how you are feeling following last night's events. But remember that there is also a different kind of politics, and it will win."

Livni failed to form a coalition government after bringing Kadima to victory in the last election. She was  defeated in recent party primaries by Shaul Mofaz.
