Responding to news that five Labor MKs were breaking off to form a new faction, Meretz MK Nitzan Horowitz said that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak "are proving that they would do anything to survive," in a statement Monday morning.

"All the Labor MKs needed to leave right-wing, racist coalition" of Netanyahu, [Foreign Minister Avigdor] Lieberman and [Interior Minister Eli] Yishai, Horowitz said. He added, "It is a shame that some of the Labor ministers are remaining in the coalition."
