Likud ministers Yuval Steinitz and Moshe Ya'alon both claimed Wednesday that they each had been personally appointed by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to take on the role of acting prime minister while Netanyahu was attending Margaret Thatcher's funeral in London.

After each had responded to Wednesday morning's rocket attack in Eilat, claiming the title of acting PM, Steinitz released an official document to the Jerusalem Post supporting his claim.
