NATO strikes pro-Gaddafi town

NORTH OF BANI WALID - NATO aircraft carried out at least five air strikes around Bani Walid, one of the last bastions of ousted Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, a Reuters reporter on the outskirts of the town said.

Earlier on Saturday anti-Gaddafi fighters were retreating from the town, saying that they expected a NATO bombardment.
