Nahariya woman stabbed, moderately injured during robbery

A woman in her 60s was stabbed repeatedly and moderately injured by an attacker during an apparent street robbery. The woman sustained multiple stab wounds in her chest and shoulder.

Magen David Adom paramedics rushed her to hospital.

Police took a 46-year-old man into custody on suspicion of carrying out the attack. The suspect is from a nearby Israeli Arab village.

Police said the attack occurred on the city's Haga'aton Boulvard.
