Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Sunday that, not only should the defense budget not be cut, it should be increased.

Speaking at the weekly cabinet meeting, Netanyahu said that the strategic changes occurring in the Middle East have consequences "on the national security of the State of Israel, on our ability to deal with new challenges, on new fronts, on new types of weapons and on the question of stability and instability in the region. All of these things have been taking place in recent months and we must draw the proper conclusions."
