Netanyahu: Israel not surprised by report exposing Iranian ballistic missile work

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said on Friday that Israel was not surprised by an exposed UN report that said Iran is pursuing ballistic missiles capabilities.

Speaking of the security threats facing Israel and the US, Netanyahu said the report seen Reuters presented further indication that Iran is trying to deceive the international community of its desire to produce nuclear weapons.

"I wasn't surprised and I'm sure you weren't surprised by the UN report," Netanyahu said during a meeting in Jerusalem with US Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel.
