Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Sunday told the cabinet that Israel has slowed the flow of migrants entering Israel from Egypt to a trickle, calling for the expulsion of those Africans already in the country
Only 54 people crossed into Israel in October, Netanyahu said, a dramatic decline from the thousands that were crossing monthly earlier in the year.
"Given this figure, we can say explicitly that we have halted the infiltration. And now we have to focus on removing or returning those infiltrators who are already in the territory of Israel to their countries of origin," he added.
