Netanyahu calls to congratulate France's Hollande

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu telephoned France's newly elected president Francois Hollande Monday evening to congratulate him on his victory.

In the weekly cabinet meeting earlier in the day, Netanyahu said relations between Israel and France have always been friendly. "They will remain such and I look forward to meeting with him in order to continue this link, which is important both bilaterally and internationally."
