Netanyahu cancels participation in Federations' GA

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has canceled his participation in the Jewish Federations of North America’s General Assembly held in Denver November 6th to 8th.

“We have been informed that Netanyahu regretfully has had to cancel his appearance,” JFNA announced in a press release on Monday.

“The Prime Minister hoped to go to the GA, but unfortunately he will have to be in Israel during that week.”

The GA is JFNA’s annual gathering which draws thousands of people from across North American and the world.

This year’s participants include Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Michael Oren,  U.S. Ambassador to Israel Daniel Shapiro and journalist Peter Beinart.
