Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Wednesday paid homage to Sefi Rivlin, the 66-year-old comedian who succumbed to cancer last night.
“Our beloved Sefi, we part ways with you today, but we will always remember your laugh, your amazing smile, your blue eyes, and the wink that was always behind your words,” the premier said during a public funeral for Rivlin, whose body lay in state at the Habima Theatre in Tel Aviv.
“You were one of our most gifted actors and comedians, oozing with talent from the top of your head to the tip of your toes. One bead of sweat on your face was enough to get us laughing.”
