Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sent his condolences on Sunday to his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe on the death of Japanese journalist Kenji Goto at the hands of the Islamic State the previous day.

"These loathsome acts of murder by ISIS are a bone-chilling reminder of the need for a united and uncompromising battle of all the free nations against the Islamist terror which is rampant in the Middle East and the entire world," Netanyahu said.
