One killed, 5 wounded in traffic accident in North

One person was killed and five others injured when two vehicles frontally collided on Route 6535 leading to Mei-Ami, in northern Israel on Friday.

The accident occurred when a jeep collided with a private car.

Firefighters extracted the body of the driver from his mangled car.

Magen David Adom evacuated the other casualties to Haemek Hospital in Afulah.

Police launched an investigation into the circumstances leading to the accident.
