Syrian forces launched raids with tanks and other armored vehicles on Tuesday in an area of northern Aleppo province near the place where Lebanese Shi'ite pilgrims were kidnapped earlier, an opposition group said.

The British-based group's head, Rami Abdulrahman, said people in the town of Azaz in Aleppo province had told him Syrian forces were combing some of the districts.
