Palestinian Authority police say the Allenby Bridge crossing between the West Bank and Jordan will operate for 24 hours on Sunday to accommodate the large numbers of pilgrims who performed the Muslim Umrah visit to Saudi Arabia, Palestinian news agency Ma'an reported.

In a statement released Saturday, police added that passengers departing the West Bank for Jordan can still travel until 6:00 p.m. On Monday, the crossing will operate as normal, Ma'an reported.
