PM appoints Amidror as head of National Security Council

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu appointed Maj.-Gen. (res.) Yaakov Amidror as head of the National Security Council on Wednesday.

Amidror will be the first religious person to head the council. He will replace Uzi Arad, who recently vacated the post.
