PM asks for help from foreign states in Carmel fire rescue

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Thursday spoke with officials from Russia, Italy, Greece and Cyprus to ask for help with search and rescue efforts in the Carmel region where a huge fire was raging that has killed at least 40 people.

Netanyahu requested that the countries send planes to help the firefighter crews with their efforts to control the fire.
