Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Sunday said "we are willing to sit down for negotiations, but the Palestinians have found a variety of excuses not to do this."

Netanyahu made his comments during a meeting with Chilean President Sebastian Pinera in Jerusalem.

During the meeting, Netanyahu said: "Negotiations should not be held through outside forces, but face to face. We hope the Palestinians will respond in time."
