PM to top IDF brass: Stop dealing with Galant investigation

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu addressed the "Galant document" affair on Wednesday, calling on the top IDF brass to “stop dealing with the investigation” and to continue to cooperate with the Defense Ministry.

Netanyahu met with Defense Minister Ehud Barak to discuss the ramifications of the "Galant document" and is scheduled to meet with IDF Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi in the coming days.

Netanyahu also spoke with Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein and asked him to speed up the police investigation into the document.
