Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu will be travelling to Holland next week for a meeting postponed from November because of the death of his father in law, Shmuel Ben-Artzi..

Sources in the PMO said Holland is among Israel's closest friends in Europe. The Netherlands votes consistently for Israel in international forums, and speaks in Israel's defense often in internal EU meetings.

Netanyahu is scheduled to leave next Wednesday, and return the following day. In addition to briefing the Dutch on the diplomatic process with the Palestinians and Iran, the talks are also expected to deal with strengthening the bilateral relationship.
