Palestinians were expected to demonstrate on Friday in protest against the US veto of a UN Security Council that would have condemned construction in the settlements.

The demonstrations were being organized by PA and Fatah officials, who have called for a “day of rage” against the US because of the veto.

The demonstrations will begin after Friday prayers in the mosques in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
