Peru riverboat sinks, at least 16 reported dead

LIMA, Peru — A riverboat has sunk in the Peruvian Amazon, killing at least 16 people, officials said Thursday.

Rescuers feared more could be dead on the Camila, which sank early Wednesday. There were at least 161 survivors, regional defense director Robert Falcon said.
