Police arrested two protesters attempting to block the path of the Jerusalem light rail on Sunday, according to police.
Police said they had cleared the tracks, holding back dozens of protesters on the sidewalks. Several protesters then attempted to block the tracks a second time.
"The police will not permit any attempt to distrupt the lives of the city's tens of thousands of residents," a police spokesman said.
The protestors were among some 200 demonstrators who gathered in Zion Square over social justice.
