Police foiled a robbery attempt last week at the Tiv Tam supermarket Rishon Lezion branch. Police became suspicious after identifying a vehicle outside the store with a counterfeit license plate. Police arrested two suspects on the spot and a third turned himself in a week later.

An investigation into the incident revealed that the three suspects were involved in a large robbery last year in which a million shekels were stolen from the same Tiv Tam branch. Moreover, the three suspects were involved in a series of burglaries in the center.
