Police arrested nearly two dozen drug dealers in a wave of arrests made in the early morning Monday.

During the raids, 22 suspected drug dealers were arrested, and police seized cars, property, and other assets worth an estimated 15 million shekels.

Police said the raids were the result of a long-term investigation carried out by an undercover agent in the police central investigative unit.

The suspects will be taken for a court hearing at the Ramle Magistrate's Court, where police will seek an extension of their remands.
