A number of wandering dogs attacked a flock of sheep and goats in Kfar Tuba in the Upper Galilee last Thursday, with five goats killed and many others injured. The Health Ministry said on Tuesday that there was a possibility that some of the dogs were rabid.

Anyone who was in contact with animals in the area and was bitten should immediately call the Safed District Health Office, tel. (04) 6994218/9, or the nearest District Health Office. After working hours, go to a hospital emergency room.
