School principal gets 6

The Haifa Magistrate's Court on Monday sentenced a Ma'alot school principal to six months of community service, for defrauding the government by providing false reports from the school over which he was presiding. He was also fined NIS 10,000 and given a six month suspended sentence. The man was convicted of enrolling some 64 fictitious students at the Ma'alot school, which resulted in an extra NIS 1 million in funding.
