Hundreds of pro-Palestinian demonstrators gathered in Toronto on Sunday to express their support for the Palestinian cause during Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's visit to the Canadian city.

The demonstration was located about half a kilometer away from where Netanyahu spoke to several thousand marchers participating in the 42nd annual Walk with Israel, the Toronto-based Globe and Mail reported.

Dozens of pro-Israel counter-demonstrators were also present at the protest site, but no altercations were reported.
