Railway employees issue request for court intervention

Israel Railways employees, together with the Histadrut labor union, submitted an urgent request to the Tel Aviv District Labor Court on Sunday to intervene on management decisions on a number of issues, among them the appointment of directors, management tenders, and employee induction, Army Radio reported.

Railway workers have a tenuous history with management, and just completed a strike in February against what they charged was management’s excessive use of outside contractors.
